The department of education issued the complete 2024 school calendar, outlining the dates for each term and the public and school holidays. Keeping those dates in mind, here is what the 2024 school calendar looks like for public schools this year:
Inland provinces are the free state, gauteng, limpopo, mpumalanga and north west, while the coastal provinces are the eastern cape, kzn, northern cape and western cape. The new school year encompasses 203 school.
